Robert Boucher, a third-generation Peorian, has built a reputation for delivering exceptional legal representation with integrity, empathy, and dedication. Growing up on the south side of Peoria (61605), Robert learned the

value of hard work and service to others from his father, a World War II Navy veteran and union leader, and his mother, who raised seven children while working part-time. Before becoming a seasoned attorney, Robert worked at Caterpillar after graduating from Limestone Community High School and served as a Gandy dancer for the railroad. These experiences gave him a firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by working families, shaping his commitment to justice and fairness. The journey to make Peoria a safer place wouldn't have been possible without your incredible support. From everyone who showed up at events, knocked on doors, shared our posts, put signs in their yard, endorsed me, or simply spread the word - my family and I are deeply grateful. Though we didn't achieve the outcome we hoped for, what we've gained is something far greater: a community that stands together for safety, justice, and hope. This isn't the end - it's just the beginning of a new chapter. Thank you, Peoria County, for everything.

Real Endorsements from Real People: Judge Thomas Keith and Lynn Keith

As a former Circuit Judge for the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois, I have had the privilege of working closely with both Jodi Hoos and Robert Boucher. After careful consideration, Lynn and I are proud to endorse Robert Boucher for Peoria County State’s Attorney.

Robert’s deep-rooted commitment to our community, combined with his extensive legal experience, uniquely positions him to lead with integrity and dedication. His vision for Safe Homes, Safe Schools, and Safe Streets aligns with the values we hold dear.

We believe Robert’s leadership will bring a renewed focus on public safety and justice to Peoria County. We encourage our friends and neighbors to support Robert Boucher in the upcoming election.

Peoria, this Halloween let's talk about some scary numbers from the most recent Peoria Police Department's 2023 Annual Report. This report shows crime in Peoria rose by 13.5% - and these aren't numbers we can ignore. For your convenience, I have bookmarked the Crime Stats, starting on Page 5.

Perhaps the most troubling is the 37% rise in juvenile crime and a 22% increase in shootings - 137 people hit by gunfire this year alone. These numbers show that Peoria's safety needs to be our top priority.

Crimes Against People saw a 5% increase, affecting real families and neighbors. Assaults, kidnappings, and even a rise in murders remind us that safety isn't something to take for granted.

Property Crimes surged by 19%, with thefts and break-ins making too many feel unsafe in their own homes.

Crimes Against Society, including drug and weapons violations, climbed 14% - issues that cast a shadow over our community.

As we enjoy Halloween, let's also recommit to making Safe Homes, Safe Schools, and Safe Streets a reality. Together, we can turn these trends around and make our city a safer place for every family.

The Peoria Police Department’s 2023 Annual Report provides an in-depth overview of crime trends, public safety initiatives, and operational achievements for the past year. With a 13.5% rise in total crime reported, the report highlights increases in violent crime, property crime, and crimes agains...

Proud to be a member of Elks Lodge #20 in Peoria!

Since 1901, our lodge has been a cornerstone of community service and fellowship. From organizing impactful fundraisers to supporting our local youth, the Elks embody the spirit of giving back.

I'm honored to stand alongside fellow members who share a commitment to making our community a better place. Whether it's through our golf tournaments, charity events, or simply coming together to lend a helping hand, the Elks truly live out their mission of "Elks Care - Elks Share."

This week, I want to highlight an important initiative from our Emblem Club. They are collecting school supplies to help local students in need. You can find a donation container in the hallway under the coat rack - please consider contributing if you can!

And don't miss out on the Friday night dinners! The fried chicken is my favorite and some of the best in town!

Let's continue to support one another and uplift our community! đź’™
