Trademark and copyright are not the same thing… and a lot of business owners don’t realize that until it’s too late 👀
A trademark protects things like your business name, brand name, logo, or slogan.
A copyright protects original creative work like photos, videos, graphics, website copy, and content.
One protects your brand identity.
The other protects what you create.
If you’re growing a business, understanding the difference matters more than you think because protecting the wrong thing could leave your business exposed.
If you’re not sure what your business actually needs, let’s figure it out together 🤍

Ready to do this the right way? Ask me about The IP Map!

Most business owners find out they needed more than one trademark after it is already too late. 👀

And by too late I mean after someone else has already filed on the thing they forgot to protect.

Your business name is just one piece of what you have built. Your signature program has a name. Your framework has a name. Your membership has a name. And none of those things are protected just because you filed one trademark.

This is exactly why I created the IP Map. 🤍

Before I file anything for any client we get on a 60 minute call and map out everything they have built. Most people come in thinking they need one trademark. Most people leave with a plan to protect five or six things.

Because filing without the full picture means gaps. And gaps mean vulnerability.

The Foundation covers 1-2 trademarks, starting at $2,850 for one mark. This is for the business owner who has a clear starting point and wants to protect the essentials first.

The Power Move covers 3-5 trademarks or copyrights, ranging from $5,450 to $9,900+. This is for the business owner who wants to protect their whole offering.

All In combines trademarks and copyrights for full portfolio protection. This is for the business owner who wants to protect all her IP. The investment depends on what you have (which we figure out during The IP Map).

What’s one thing in your business you’d be devastated to see someone else claim? Drop it below 👇

I have an LLC, so my name is protected… right?” 👀
Not exactly.
This is one of the most common assumptions I hear from business owners.
An LLC registers your business, but it does not automatically protect your brand name the way most people think it does.
If you’re building a brand you actually care about, this is something you want to understand early on.
I break down the difference and what actually protects your name in the video.
This is your sign to trademark your brand!

Book your 60-minute IP Map, and let’s figure out exactly what you need.

I primarily work with women owned businesses. And there is a very personal reason why.

Growing up I watched women who were incredibly capable and incredibly smart navigate a world that did not always give them room to thrive. They worked hard. They built things. But the choices weren’t always there.
That never left me.

When a woman legally owns what she has built she has options that change everything. She can sell her business. License her programs. Grow without anyone being able to take it from her.

That is what I want for every single woman I work with. Not just protection on paper. Real choices 🤍.
Tell me what your business is below. I would love to cheer you on. 👇

You think you need one trademark. You probably need five.

Most people come to me thinking they need to protect their business name.

But when we sit down and actually map everything out, there are usually five or six assets sitting right there. The signature program you’ve been running for three years. The framework you teach inside your course. The name of your membership. The method your clients know you for. That podcast name. Things you built and never thought to protect.

That’s why we start with The IP Map. It’s a 60-minute session where we go through everything you’re working on, figure out what needs protection, and put a plan together for how to do it in the right order.

From there, we work together based on what makes sense for your business:

The Foundation covers 1-2 trademarks, starting at $2,850 for one mark. This is for the business owner who has a clear starting point and wants to protect the essentials first.

The Power Move covers 3-5 trademarks or copyrights, ranging from $5,450 to $9,900+. This is for the business owner who wants to protect their whole offering.

All In combines trademarks and copyrights for full portfolio protection. This is for the business owner who wants to protect all her IP. The investment depends on what you have (which we figure out during The IP Map).

Raise your hand if you thought a trademark was just a logo thing. 🙋🏼‍♀️. But your program name, your framework, your method, your membership names are all protectable.

Drop your business below and tell me what you do. Let’s connect!

Everyone is worried about AI taking over their business. The ones who won’t have to worry are the ones who actually own what makes them different.

Your program name, your framework, your content, your method. All protectable.

The IP Map is a 60-minute session where we map out everything you’ve built and figure out what actually needs protection. Most people come in thinking they need one trademark and leave with a full protection plan.

If you’re ready to protect what you’re creating, let’s talk 🤍

Growing online this year is fun.
Getting stressed because you skipped the behind-the-scenes stuff? Not fun.

If you’re posting content, selling something, launching a course, collecting emails, or just trying to turn the internet into income, there are things you should have in place that most people don’t think about.

Website policies, content ownership, email rules, and clear terms are what protect your time, your money, and your creativity when things go left.

And no, you don’t need to be a massive brand for this to matter. If you’re posting online, you’re already building a brand whether you realize it or not.

If you want help figuring out what you actually need and what you don’t, let’s chat. I help creators and business owners protect what they’re building so they can grow without the stress.

DM me “PROTECT MY BRAND” and let’s get you set up the right way!

Before you sign anything for your business this year, pause.

Contracts are more than paperwork. They define your income, your obligations, and what happens when things don’t go as planned.

A few questions every business owner should ask before signing:
• Do I understand how this contract can end • Can I realistically deliver what I’m agreeing to • What happens if there’s a dispute, delay, or issue
Clear, written agreements protect your brand, set expectations, and prevent uncomfortable conversations later. Relying on assumptions, DMs, or vague terms is where most problems start.
If you’re unsure about a contract or feel rushed to sign, that’s usually your cue to slow down and review it properly.
📩 DM me “CONTRACT” and I’ll help you figure out which contract templates your business actually needs and where to start.
