Good morning, everyone!

I'm happy to be back to my regular schedule at Spelled Ink today and looking forward to seeing you all.

It's a beautiful Saturday and the perfect day to step away from the usual chores, errands, and responsibilities for a little while and enjoy a bit of creative fun. Our Craft Packs are available and ready to go, and if you'd like to stay and put yours together, you're welcome to make yourself comfortable in our game room. We have crafting supplies and equipment available for use there, including hot glue guns and other helpful tools, so you can settle in, create, and enjoy the experience without having to spread everything out at home.

While you're here, feel free to browse the shelves, enjoy the game room, work on a project, play a game with friends, or simply relax for a while. Sometimes we all need a small escape—a quiet place to recharge, create, and enjoy a slower pace.

Many people don't realize that our game room is often available for exactly this kind of use throughout the week. One of my favorite things about Spelled Ink is being able to provide a welcoming space where members of our community can take a break, connect with others, and enjoy a little time in their home away from home.

So if you've been needing a mini getaway without going far, I'd love to see you today. Come create, play, read, relax, and enjoy a little time for yourself.

Spelled Ink will be opening later than usual today due to an appointment that is taking longer than anticipated.

At this time, I don't yet have an estimated opening time, but I will share an update as soon as I know more. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support while I work through today's delay.

Many of you already know and love our Ink & Imagination take-home kits and the variety of crafts we've carried throughout the store. To make them easier to browse and discover, we've brought them all together into one dedicated space: The Crafter's Corner!

This new display features our popular Ink & Imagination take-home book craft kits, along with a growing collection of additional creative projects and craft kits for all ages and interests. Whether you're looking for a rainy-day activity, a unique gift, a family project, or a creative escape for yourself, you'll find plenty of inspiration waiting for you.

The best part? You can purchase your craft to enjoy at home, or bring it into our craft room and create it here while you're visiting the shop.

We're excited to continue expanding the Crafter's Corner with new projects and creative experiences, so be sure to check back often to see what's new!

📚✨ It is so good to be back open today! ✨📚

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding while I was closed yesterday. After a very busy stretch, taking a day to rest and recharge was something I truly needed, and I am incredibly grateful for the kindness and support this community always shows me.

Now that the doors are back open, I’ve put together a new table display filled with some fantastic reads that you won't want to miss! From the heartwarming *Remarkably Bright Creatures* to the beloved *Outlander* series and many other wonderful titles, there are plenty of stories waiting to be discovered.

If you're looking for your next great read, be sure to stop in and take a look. You never know which book might decide to come home with you! 📖💛

Spelled Ink will be closed today as I take a day to rest and recover. While nothing serious is going on, I'm feeling a bit under the weather and want to make sure I'm taking the time I need to be back at my best.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. Small businesses are only possible because of wonderful communities like ours, and I appreciate each and every one of you.

🌿💛 **Our Sharing Shelf Is Overflowing!** 💛🌿

When we first set up our little Sharing Shelf, we hoped it might become a blessing to our community. Thanks to your incredible generosity, it has already become so much more.

Right now, the shelf is overflowing with food, essentials, and acts of kindness from neighbors who simply wanted to help one another. Seeing our community come together in this way has been truly heartwarming.

We want everyone to know that the Sharing Shelf is here for *everyone*. Whether you need a few items to help get through the week, have something extra you'd like to share, or both, you are welcome. No explanations needed. No judgment. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

At the moment, we have an abundance of shelf-stable milk, period care packs, canned goods, pantry staples, and many other wonderful items. We also have bags available to help you carry items home if needed.

More than anything, we want this space to be a blessing—a reminder that even in difficult times, kindness is alive and well in our community. Watching this little shelf grow and seeing it used exactly as intended has filled our hearts with gratitude.

We're excited to introduce **Isabel Painter**, a talented local youth artisan whose handmade crocheted creations have just arrived at Spelled Ink!

From adorable little dinosaurs and cheerful ducks to sweet frogs, buzzing bees, and cuddly whales, Isabel's work is full of creativity, personality, and craftsmanship. Each piece is lovingly handmade, making every one of them a unique treasure.

We are always proud to support local makers, and it's especially wonderful to showcase young entrepreneurs who are sharing their talents with our community. Isabel's creations are the perfect little gift, desk companion, reading buddy, or treat for yourself.

And today is extra exciting because our Summer Reading Program officially kicks off! 🎉☀️📚

Our entire display table is now filled with children’s books specially set aside for the program, and every child who signs up and picks up their reading passport gets to choose one free book to take home with them. 💛

We’re so excited to see young readers diving into stories all summer long. Stop in, browse the new arrivals, grab a passport, and help us celebrate the start of summer reading season! ✨📖
