I handled a divorce for a mother a couple years ago and a week after the decree was filed her ex, being unhappy with the court ruling, filed a motion to modify custody, visitation and child support. He later filed a motion to terminate support alimony as well. My client filed a motion to modify approximately a year after the divorce hearing concluded. After years of having to deal with a very difficult ex that refused to follow the joint custody plan in their divorce decree, today she was awarded sole custody. It's great to be able to get such an awesome victory for such a deserving mother.

A mother came to me a little over a month ago. Her children had been taken from her and given to the paternal grandmother. She didn't have notice of the hearing on guardianship and her kids were taken from her. Today, that guardianship was dismissed and she is back with all four of her kids tonight. Not a bad days work.

Today I switched it up a bit and went to Municipal court for an assault and batter and destruction of private property charge. Long story short, both charges dismissed. I do more than just family law, call me to see if I can help with your pending legal issue.

A couple weeks ago I had a single mother come in regards to her ex-boyfriend, and father of her child, following her and sending her very disturbing and harassing text messages. Yesterday was her court date for a Victim Protective Order(VPO). We presented her case to the judge yesterday and she was granted a VPO for one year, and he is responsible for paying the court costs and her attorney fees. I love helping those who, by no fault of their own, need help, just like that mom did from her abusive ex.

Last month I went back to court for a modification of custody, visitation, and child support on a matter that had just been out of the legal system for less than 2 years. I had instructed my client on how to handle the situation during this time because we both knew another motion to modify would come at some point.
I'm happy to say that when it was all over joint custody was terminated and sole custody awarded to my client, visitation for the other party was reduced, and child support was increased.
