This is the kind of “quiet” news that moves housing.

AAR completed an 80,000+ SF expansion in OKC and it’s tied to ~200 new jobs and more capacity for 737 maintenance.

That’s real payroll growth—especially near Will Rogers—and it matters for rentals, resale demand, and future development patterns.

MAPS turning 32 is a reminder: OKC’s growth has been intentional for decades.

That original 1993 vote kicked off a model of investing in quality-of-life projects—and that’s a big part of why the city keeps pulling people and investment.

Buc-ee’s in OKC?? If you are a fan of Buc-ees like our family, this is an interesting development, and one that would be a growth accelerator for whatever corridor lands it.

Right now it’s only “preliminary exploratory discussions,” but even that tells you OKC is staying on the radar for big-name destination retail. With a few locations in mind, and whispers mentioning it is going to be on the West side of the metro, it will be interesting to see where it lands.

Downtown OKC is stacking more rooftops right next to the Omni + convention district… and that usually means the next wave of restaurants + walkability isn’t far behind.

Boulevard Place is one of those “quiet” moves that ends up being a big move.

Midwest City update: that old grocery store spot is getting a MAJOR upgrade 👀

A Sky Zone trampoline park is coming together at 10011 SE 15th St, and they’re targeting a soft opening window as early as mid-Feb to mid-March. That’s a pretty quick turnaround for a big indoor build-out.

OKC quietly just leveled up. 🚆📦

A new 42-acre intermodal facility is now live—built to move shipping containers by rail into OKC with less reliance on long-haul trucking.

Big ripple effect: BNSF says at full utilization this could eliminate up to 40,000 truck moves per year. Less congestion, less road wear, and a real “growth signal” for industrial + distribution momentum in the metro.
