Remember Utah is one of those states!!
If you haven’t seen a security deposit disposition within 30 days after you move out, don’t just assume your deposit is gone! There are options to make the landlord provide you the required documentation.
If you DO receive the disposition notice, don’t just accept the costs if they seem unreasonable! You have the right to request receipts and documentation for the charges.
