Meet Large Marge! Our pet of the month! 🥹

Hello! I'm Large Marge and I'm so happy to meet you! Weighing in at around 100 pounds, I'm built like a tank with the heart of a marshmallow. Don't let my hippo shape fool you, I can move! I'm surprisingly agile when I zoom around the yard, dive into the toy box to pick something good, and then pop out with the biggest squeaky toy I can find. I will give it my all for a few glorious minutes, then I'm ready to catch my breath and collect belly rubs. Because I'm strong with a low center of gravity, I would do best with kids 10 years or older. I can live with other dogs AS LONG AS they know I'm the boss and dog-savvy cats. We were so happy to sponsor River Light FC’s golf outing! These golfers had an amazing time! Thank you to River Light FC for putting on such a great event. We’re proud to support this wonderful organization and can’t wait for the next one! ⛳️

After our Project Backpack event, we had the opportunity to bring the backpacks to another event that evening, and the community support continued! We handed out even more backpacks, had Pilot Pete’s come out with ice cream for everyone, and had even more haircuts available. What a full and beautiful day of coming together, giving back, and building community! 🎒🍦✂️

Our Project Backpack event was an absolute blast! 🎒✨

We handed out hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies, plenty of extra supplies and swag, and even brought complimentary haircuts and Kona Ice to help families get ready for the new school year. The Hillside Public Library is always the best host! They provided fun crafts, games, and snack bags for everyone inside!

We had the best day meeting so many amazing kids and families and helping kick off the new school year with a little extra fun and excitement. 💙📚✏️
