A sure sign that summer is back in Newport ☂️🌸

Umbrella Sky Newport has officially returned to Brick Market Place, transforming Goddard Row into a colorful open-air art installation filled with suspended umbrellas and this year’s “Flowers in Bloom” theme.

Originally inspired by the internationally recognized Umbrella Sky Project in Águeda, Portugal, the Newport installation was brought to the city by local nonprofit ArtScape to turn everyday public spaces into vibrant, interactive art experiences.

With live music, pop-up markets, local shopping, and waterfront walks just steps away, it’s become one of Newport’s favorite warm-weather stops for both visitors and locals alike!
