Our Story
Brooklyn native Stewart Altschuler is known as the Suitman. For over a decade he has been traveling from precinct to precinct simplifying the lives of all Law Enforcement due to their hectic schedules and providing them with a hands on fitting of his one and only Tactical Dress Suit. Stewart’s background in the garment center and passion for martial arts were combined when creating this suit. After witnessing an attempted arrest in NY and the difficulty the Detectives had moving freely and effectively in their dress suit he knew there had to be a better cut. Additionally the fact that their weapons were exposed concerned Mr. Altschuler and he began designing a suit that is now known as the one and only Tactical Dress Suit for all Law Enforcement. During his visits to precincts he even demonstrates how to react with free mobility in the suit and checks to make sure the fit conceals one’s weapon in a safer and more secure manner. In his words quoted through the Daily News and New York Times,” if I can give someone a 5% chance of getting home safer, then I have done my job.” Over time his concept grew and he began supplying all UN Delegates, Government professionals, Executive Protection Officers, Nightlife security & many more.
