A Green Card and an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) both allow you to work in the U.S., but they serve different purposes.
A Green Card grants you permanent residency and the right to work for any company. It also allows you to travel freely and even apply for citizenship after a set period.
An EAD, on the other hand, is temporary and tied to an underlying process, such as asylum, a student visa, or an adjustment of status. It does not grant permanent status and can be revoked if the underlying process is denied.
While a Green Card provides stability, an EAD is a provisional work permit. For over 13 years, ALFA has been helping Brazilians achieve security and legal status in the U.S.
