I'm a realtor licensed in NY & NJ and currently work primarily in Northern NJ. I have lived in Manhattan and Hoboken, graduated from New York University and currently reside in Jersey City. A good majority of my clients are moving from NYC and I often advise them on neighborhoods based on their favorite NYC neighborhoods. Below is what I usually suggest when I have clients moving from NYC to NJ and aren't ready yet for the suburbs. What many don't realize is Jersey City is a large city with very diverse neighborhoods so I thought this might be useful for many who are considering a move to Jersey City and also Hoboken or Weehawken.
