If you import dietary supplements to the United States you must file a prior notice with the FDA before shipping in order to avoid being refused admission at the port of entry.

Importers of dietary supplements must file a Prior Notice with the FDA prior to each shipment to the United States. Failure to file an FDA Prior Notice will result your shipment being refused entry.
