BIG NEWS at Crough Law ⚖️

I am incredibly excited to announce that Nussair Habboush, Esq. is officially joining Crough Law as Of Counsel.

Nussair and I have known each other since 2009, when we attended law school together and competed internationally on Moot Court teams. I still remember watching him go head-to-head against Harvard in competition and absolutely dominate the courtroom, earning an Outstanding Oralist Award in the process out of 1,200 students. Even back then, it was clear he was an extraordinary advocate.

Since law school, Nussair has built an impressive career handling sophisticated matrimonial and family law matters, including high-net-worth and high-conflict divorce cases involving complex financial and custodial issues. He is an exceptional trial attorney with extensive courtroom experience and a reputation for strategic, detail-oriented advocacy.

On a personal level, this announcement means even more because working together has always been a shared dream of ours. To finally make that happen is something I am truly proud of.

Relocating With Your Child Outside of Connecticut

✈️ Thinking about moving out of Connecticut with your child?

It’s not as simple as packing boxes and updating your address.

If there is a custody order in place, relocating out of state with a child often requires either:
✔️ The other parent’s agreement
or
✔️ Approval from the court through a relocation motion

In Connecticut, the court focuses on one central question:

👶 Is the move in the best interest of the child?
