Over the last year, Lawyers Without Borders has worked with the Brunswick Group to solidify LWOB’s mission, vision, and value. After many months of work, we are thrilled to announce our new mission, purpose statement, and visual identity. Special thanks to Kevin Bailey, Partner at Brunswick and LWOB Board Member, Jamie Shiembob, Director at Brunswick, and the whole Brunswick team for all of their work on this project.

USDOL, Winrock and Lawyers Without Borders partnered to provide training to the Liberia Legal Reform Committee (LRC) on regulations and legislative analysis. The LRC reviews laws on child labor, identifies gaps in the laws and defines hazardous work. https://wnrck.org/2t4RFzD

Welcome Back!

We had a wonderful time meeting everyone yesterday at the SOAS Freshers Fayre! There was an amazing show of interest so John and I are busily preparing events to bring all of the ideas and ambitions together. Please look out for our welcome email soon!

Liberia's Labor Minister, Mr. Kollie, said the government has committed itself to the National Action Plan (NAP) to address child labor issues. The USDOL CLEAR II project, implemented by Winrock in partnership with Lawyers Without Borders, collaborated with the Ministry of Labor to develop the NAP.

With the help of local law enforcement, LWOB’s signature graphic novels have been featured in LWOB community outreach efforts aimed at combating poaching and reducing human/wildlife conflict. Thank you to the corps of lawyers from around the world who crossed borders to make a difference, helping LWOB conclude 20 months of wildlife crime field work in Tanzania.
