Another quirk found!

Several cylinder piers were placed under the center of the home. Most likely these piers were placed as secondary support, however they were placed in an unusual way. Right under the subfloor rather than the adjacent joists and main girder.

This job is always unique and always showing me new things. I have availability coming up, so don’t hesitate to schedule your inspections!

Todays inspections had me covering from Greenville, to Rocky Mount, and then down to Atlantic Beach. 291 miles in total!!!

Talk about the coolest thing!

This stairway had a secret…extra storage and a walk in attic 🫣 Behind the mirror was a doorway that led to the space, along with a pull down ladder to the main attic area.

Definitely one of the coolest features I have found on a home inspection to date!
