Unlike surrounding towns that act as bedroom communities for NYC, Morristown is a Live + Work + Play community. This is what makes Morristown so great. Some may live here as just a waypoint in their lives, while others look to become permanent residents. There are those that enjoy the laid back bars, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, parks and art. And then there are those who like the carryover of th
e NYC work ethic showcased in places like Headquarters Plaza or the large amount of law offices and medical offices. TIMO is meant to fill a void in the Morristown community. While residents love living here – there are not very many places to share their voice. This is made even worse by the large generational divide present in Morristown. The younger residents who have moved here as an alternative to a larger city may feel disenfranchised by the sometimes dated architecture of town services and even events that exist within Morristown. So while TIMO is a community based website, we also want to help encourage representation of the younger Morristonians in town events, committees, boards, etc. We also wish to show startups and established companies that the high population of college graduates in our area are eager to work; and Morristown is a fantastic alternative to expensive cities.
