During the 17+ years that I have been in real estate I have sold and/or helped my clients purchase over 1500 properties. The thing that I love most about my career is building relationships and trust in a fast paced and competitive work place. I love the challenge of building my skills and improving in my career. One of my many specialties is new home construction. I cut my teeth on it in my first years of real estate. This being said, a large majority of the homes I have marketed and sold have been newly built homes. I enjoy the competitive atmosphere of working with a team. October is officially here, and if you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, it’s pumpkin patch time!

Here are a few of the best spots around the Treasure Valley to kick off fall:

Lowe Family Farmstead | Kuna
The BIG fall experience. Pumpkin patch, Idaho’s Original Corn Maze, hayrides, jumping pillows, pig races, farm animals and tons of activities. Open Friday & Saturday 10 AM–9 PM this weekend. Closed Sunday.

Shindig Farms | Nampa
Home to a huge straw maze plus pumpkins, barrel rides and plenty of farm fun. October Fridays & Saturdays are open 10 AM–11 PM, with Haunted Nights after dark.

Jordan’s Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Tree Lot | Boise
A great choice with younger kids or if you want something simple and affordable. FREE admission plus a hay maze, petting zoo, corn pit, toys and cute fall photo ops. Open all weekend.

The Berry Ranch | Nampa
For more of an old-fashioned farm experience, take a hayride out to the field and pick your pumpkin right off the vine. Hayrides run Friday & Saturday 10 AM–5 PM and Sunday 1–5 PM.

Kovick Kountry Farm | New Plymouth
Worth the little drive! Pumpkins, corn maze, hayrides, kids activities and plenty of fall photo opportunities.

Pumpkin Palooza | Meridian
A newer option right in Meridian with pumpkins, inflatables, a big slide, mechanical bull, hay maze, corn pit, petting zoo and weekend food trucks. Open Friday–Sunday 9 AM–9 PM.

Today we celebrate Labor Day 🇺🇸

But what exactly are we celebrating?
Labor Day was created to honor the American worker and recognize the contributions, dedication, and achievements of workers who have helped build our communities and our country.

From the people building homes and neighborhoods, to teachers, small business owners, healthcare workers, farmers, first responders, tradespeople, and everyone who works hard to provide for their families, today is a reminder that hard work matters.

As a Realtor, I get to see that hard work become part of people’s stories every day. The first home. The move that brings a family closer together. The investment that creates a future. The dream that finally becomes an address.
So today, I’m grateful for the people who work hard, dream big, and keep our communities moving forward.
