Over the last seven months, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside my client through the rewarding journey of preparing his childhood home for the market. What started as a simple cold-call of sorts, turned into months of relationship building, problem solving, renovations, upkeep, and finally, navigating one of the toughest buyer markets we’ve seen in recent years.
This process was never just about putting a sign in the yard. It was about honoring a home filled with memories while making sure it was presented at its absolute best for the next family who will love it just as much.
During this time I’ve painted doors, maintained flower beds, mowed the lawn, swept & vacuumed floors, coordinated repairs, kept the pipes from bursting in the ice storm, and handled countless details behind the scenes to help keep everything moving forward. From the smallest touch-ups to the biggest conversations, I treated this home as if it were my own because that’s the level of care I believe every client deserves.
Together, we experienced plenty of highs and lows getting this home market-ready and listed on April 13th, but today I am overjoyed to share we are officially under contract in just 15 days! More importantly, I know Rick feels relieved knowing his childhood home is transitioning to its next chapter while he continues building his busy life in Charleston, South Carolina.
