If youāre facing a home sale with a lot of moving pieces, reach out. Sometimes the right guidance and steady communication can make all the difference.
Sometimes success doesnāt look like a straight line.
Sometimes it looks like delays, changed dates, unanswered questions, and a whole lot of uncertainty.
Our sellerās buyer had to sell his home before he could purchase hers. That closing date moved. Then it moved again.
Meanwhile, my client was left trying to make real-life decisions without clear answers.
Should she rent the apartment now or wait?
When should she schedule the movers?
What if the buyerās sale was delayed again?
There were a lot of moving pieces and not many guarantees.
So we focused on what we could control: communication.
We stayed in close contact with my seller, and the buyer communicated with her as well. We kept everyone informed, motivated, and moving forward. And when frustration or worry crept in, compassion mattered just as much as contracts and deadlines.
Eventually, the sale was delayed by several days. Funding was delayed too.
But my seller made the decision to move forward. She rented her apartment, packed up, and moved herself and her dogs into their new home.
And then, everything came together.
God made a way when it seemed there was no way.
He moved so she could move too.
This transaction reminded us that real estate isnāt always about perfect timing. Sometimes itās about staying steady when the timing is anything but perfect.
Communication is key. Motivation matters. And a heavy dose of compassion can make a difficult season feel a little more manageable.
