The Prince William County School Board believes that education is a lifelong process; therefore, the school division provides opportunities in adult education. The programs available through adult education shall be designed to meet the various needs of a diverse adult population and shall provide educational opportunities for adults. m provides educational services to adults residing in Prince William County, the City of Manassas, and the City of Manassas Park. Increasing the educational functioning levels of adult learners in the region is a critical step in providing an educated workforce to stimulate economic growth in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As employment opportunities become more competitive due to the economic recession and in order to meet the increasing need for an educated workforce, the Adult Education Program provides educational opportunities to adult residents in the community.
