On October 26, 2016 commencing at 6:00 pm, the Wilshire Bar Association will join with the Korean Community Lawyers Association in presenting our annual “Dinner with the Judges,” hosting the judges of the Los Angeles Superior Court. This will take place at the home of the Korean Consul-General in Hancock Park. The featured speaker will be Los Angeles Superior Court Presiding Judge Daniel Buckley, and the event will be emceed by Judge Dorothy Kim. Reservations are required. Our speaker will be Greg Dorst, who has been an attorney and a certified addiction specialist. The topic will be “Substance Abuse Prevention, Detection and Treatment.” This will qualify for one hour of MCLE credit in the area of “Competence Issues” (formerly known as “substance abuse.”)

For this event the cost for lunch and one hour of MCLE credit is $25.00 for dues paying members in good standing; otherwise the cost is $35.00.

WANNA BET? On Saturday, March 14th, 2015 we will have our Annual Day at the Races at Santa Anita Park, located at 285 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California 91007. The cost for valet parking, admission, program, and buffet lunch, will be $50.00 per person. This is one of our most fun filled events of the year, and reservations are required.
