I became a Notary Public 20 years ago when I worked in banking. 👀At the time, New Mexico did not require a Notary Public to complete Notary training, and honestly I didn’t know all the details of what a Notary could and couldn’t do. I didn’t understand the value a knowledgeable Notary Public provides or the terminology and I definitely didn’t know how many industries rely on a Notary Public.
It wasn’t until after I left banking and started looking into starting my mobile Notary business when I learned about New Mexico Notary Law and signed up for additional training to learn about Loan signing and Apostille preparation, entrepreneurship and specialty notary work.
I have learned so much in the last 8 years since I started my mobile Notary business and continue to sign up for training annually through successful mentors that inspire me. I consider this my annual continuing education that keeps me current, knowledgeable and ready to help my clients notarize their documents and provide solutions for other business needs.
I just completed my training through the National Notary Association to renew my Commission for another 4 years 🎉🎉 I never imagined being a business owner or a mobile and virtual Notary Public, but here I am, ready to stamp your documents or help you certify documents for international use.
