Did you know that as of July 1, 2025, courts are now required to include findings of fact and conclusions of law every time they award or modify custody? With our already crowded court system, do you think this added step is worth the extra time it will take judges to issue orders- or is it a necessary safeguard to ensure custody decisions are based on the proper statutory factors?

Last week we had the privilege of sponsoring a hole at the Tippecanoe Legal Aid Golf Outing! We passed out snacks to the wonderful players and made them putt with their opposite hand! Thank you for having us Legal Aid!
