While many groups that come out to oppose economic growth are well organized, it is our belief that the business community is not well organized and is not being heard. As a result, we have formed a group called "The Ulster County Alliance for Balanced Growth" so that the business community can be afforded an opportunity to participate collectively and more effectively in the important decisions that are being made in theis county. Our goal is to organize and educate; giving business leaders the tools and knowledge to engage in discussions with elected officials and other members of the community.
