The FBI is again holding joint training exercises with Suffolk police and emergency services at the Nissequogue River State Park (the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center) Wednesday, October 6, through the end of Thursday, October 7). It is an official training class, and any noise emanating from the site, such as explosives, should not concern residents.

You're invited to attend an informational meeting by NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation regarding the Nissequogue River State Park Master Plan on Sat., Oct 16, 2021 from 10am-3:00pm at the Park Administration Headquarters. Parks and Design Team members
will be on site to share community survey results and present early concepts of the forthcoming Master

Tuesday, May 18th is the Kings Park Central School District budget vote and Board of Education election. Voting will take place from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.

In case you missed the recent Zoom call presentation regarding the Nissequogue River State Park Master Plan, given by NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation, click to our website to view the information packet, watch the presentation, and participate in a survey. Interested parties have until February 17 to fill out the Recreational Needs Assessment survey.

The Kings Park Civic Association knows that Kings Park, New York is a great place to live and looks forward to working with the community to enhance the quality of life here.
