I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about who I am, where I’ve been, and what I was doing before I ended up in Washington.

So… I finally decided to tell some of the stories. 😂

I’ve traveled alone to places where I knew nobody, didn’t speak the language, and sometimes had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into.

Russia. Thailand. Peru. Ethiopia. Cuba. Mozambique. Jamaica. Bali. Myanmar… and more.

But the funny thing is, when I look back, the places aren’t what stand out most.

The people do.

The strangers who helped me.
The assumptions I had to let go of.
The moments that scared me.
The people who completely changed the way I see the world.

And yes… there’s also the story of the time I was standing about two meters away from Sean Paul and insisted the person telling me it was Sean Paul was WRONG. 😂

Watching this, I was reminded of something I’m still learning.

I’m ambitious. I’m a realtor, I run businesses, create content, and always have another idea I want to bring to life.

And honestly? There is always something I could be doing.

Another email.
Another client.
Another project.
Another goal.

So going to watch Kent and Talent Gap perform could easily have been one of those things I told myself I was “too busy” for.

But then I watched Kent – guitarist, singer, and self-proclaimed recovering drummer – absolutely own Wipeout 🥁

His son Koby flew in from Columbus to play with the band, and there they all were – family, friends, music, and a moment that reminded me of something.

I can get so focused on building the life I want that I sometimes forget to fully enjoy the life I already have.

So this is my reminder to myself:

The emails can wait sometimes.
The to-do list will still be there tomorrow.

And occasionally, the right thing to do is put everything down and watch my boyfriend have a very successful relapse into drumming ❤️

Somewhere between building the life I want and living the life I already have…

I’m trying to get better at doing both 🎸🥁❤️

There is a huge difference between Force and Power.
When you try to force a golf ball (or a career move, a deal, or a creative project), you tense up, overthink every angle, and ruin your follow-through.
Power comes when you relax, trust your preparation, and just swing.
If you’ve been white-knuckling a decision all week, here’s your sign for the weekend: loosen the grip, take the shot, and trust yourself to handle the fairway.

Dear Sellers, you don't set the MARKET price. Buyers do. Don't list based on what you *want* to get. If you try to price too high, your listing will get stagnant, and you'll end up dropping the price anyway
