Our Team is Dedicated to Helping Your Team!

Amanda Hunt earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from UC San Diego in 1996. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 1999, cm laude, after spending her 3L year as a visiting student at UC Hastings School of Law. During law school, Amanda served as an editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce.

Amanda began her legal career at Paul Hastings LLP in San Francisco, in the Labor and Employment Group. Amanda then moved to Orange County and joined Carlton, DiSante & Freudenberger LLP (now CDF Labor Law LLP) and continued her practice in labor and employment litigation defense.

Amanda joined Montage’s team as a project coordinator in 2021. Amanda connects law firms and in-house legal departments with Montage’s freelance attorneys on a project basis, and assists with other administrative tasks.

A New Chapter with OCWLA: Chairing the Inaugural Emeritus Board

I recently wrapped up eight years of service on the Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA) Board, but I’m very happy to say I won’t be going far.

I’m honored to have been appointed Chair of OCWLA’s inaugural Emeritus Board, a new group made up of past presidents, former board members, judges and leaders in the Orange County legal community. After so many years on the Board, this feels like a great way to stay connected to an organization that has been an important part of my professional life while making room for new leadership.

A New Role for Past OCWLA Leaders
The idea behind the Emeritus Board is simple: OCWLA has a tremendous amount of experience and institutional knowledge among its former leaders. The new Emeritus Board creates a way to keep those people involved and make that experience available to the current Board.

We’ll serve as a resource to OCWLA’s Board of Directors, offering mentorship, historical perspective, guidance, and strategic support when helpful. At the same time, the current Board remains exactly where it should be—leading OCWLA forward with its own ideas and priorities.
