Instoremag.com in the February issue has published an article written by Mr. Fred Mouawad of The House of Mouawad established in 1890 titled the
Five Words. One Confident Answer. on January 25th, 2026.
He discusses the 5 Pillars of the diamond trade that we have to consider and apply so as not to confuse our clients when purchasing natural diamonds.
The 5 pillars are : Origin, Rarity, Value, Sustainability and Meaning establishing the difference between natural diamonds and lab grown diamonds.
A very informative and learning to sell properly article that creates a peace when we sell our natural diamond the correct and only alternative to a much discussed issue.
Thank you Mr. Mouawad for teaching me so that I can inform my clients when investing in a Natural Diamond that not only do we lean on the 4 C’s but the 5 Pillars also.

Posting pics of a kumihimo embellished glass beaded necklace made about 20 years ago that I wear periodically.
An Amethyst "Wheel of Life" is the center focus point with a few life events along the way with a spray that dangles down my back.
I guess jealousy,
Someone decide to make it better and add glue all over the spray. The kumihimo braid of pinks and purple will look much better when gently washed, restoring the colors.
Heard some talk it was copied and changed alittle with being sold to a famous country western gospel female singer! 🧝‍♀️
