If you are an operating during then you have been humbled, if you will. Your 2020 , if aggressive, have been shattered. If your 2020 goals were conservative, then you may be able to recover. But, if you are a shoot for the stars type, yet satisfied with coming close to those beautiful shiny objects in the sky because you know you are leaps and bounds ahead of your start, then 2020 is a challenge.

Although my goals this year are destroyed, I've learned a lesson that is so much more important than my plan, and I would not have made this change if it wasn't forced on me.

This year, I was effected by a global virus that took lives within my inner circle. This year I've lost an Associate to police violence. This year, all outside of the home entertainment has been erased, and with that all distractions removed. This year, I've grown closer to my family, more then ever. This year, I've done more in one month then I usually do in three months. etc. etc. ...and it's only mid May.

The lesson I've learned in the last few months is to operate out of my passion and to focus on the goal within the journey. This allowed me to not focus on tomorrow but to accomplish as much as I could today and let tomorrow stand on it's own. My preparation for tomorrow was simply to gather all of my tools today, so that tomorrow has a purpose. However, if tomorrow presents a different direction, I'll embrace it as a path within the journey.

Operating out of tenacious passion has set a new bar for me and I'm looking forward to removing waste and embracing the obstacles that force within the journey of achieving the goal.
