When answering personal questions in interviews, stick to these three main rules:
1️⃣ Be YOU. Personal questions are to find out if you will be a good fit in the company culture.
2️⃣ Be HONEST. If flexibility, boundaries, or change are challenges or areas you excel personally, employers will know how and if your true self will feel comfortable.
3️⃣ Be SELECTIVE. Be careful to not overshare or reveal too much. There are questions you do not HAVE to answer and shouldn't be asked. Be selective with the personal information you divulge in an interview.

Employee handbooks are an essential part of business management, but they are little to no value if your employees never actually read them.

One way to ensure that your new hire has, in fact, read the employee handbook is to include a completion signature. Some companies will even include a couple 'pop questions' as an extra measure!

This signature is helpful for any future confusion or conflict that may arise. It is difficult to argue non-receipt of the handbook or incomprehension of its details when an employee is shown their own signature agreeing to having received it, read it, and understood its contents.
