David's Heart of Hope, Inc SET UP IN THE MEMORY OF MY MURDERED SON; FOUND ROBBED AND KILLED IN HIS SHADOWBRIAR , HOUSTON APARTMENT ON NOVEMBER 11TH, 2013. THE HPD IS OPEN TO TIPS .

This is a process born to prevent a mental break down, knowing that the death of my first of two sons was caused by some of his friends, locally, here in Houston; fellow Nigerians that has eaten with him, given stuff to, fended for, fought for, and even defended to me in my warning rants as a concerned parent, left me with no choice, but to SPEAK UP & OUT, to beg all who are keeping silent to keep helping the detectives, as one has lawyer-ed up. Common people, do the math.

⚖️
“DON’T SET YOURSELF ON FIRE TO KEEP OTHERS WARM.” 🔥

There is a difference between kindness and self-destruction.
I have finally learnt that.
Sacrifice without wisdom can quietly become self-neglect disguised as goodness. Never disappear so others can appear. God did not create you empty of purpose, gifts, dreams, dignity, and needs. Your existence matters too.

All my life, I gave.
I shared.
I borrowed to help others survive.
Sometimes my last.
And no, I carry no regrets for having a compassionate heart. I refuse bitterness. I refuse hatred. I refuse to shame myself for being humane. But wisdom? Ahhh… wisdom came with pain.

I have learnt that many people only remember your generosity when they need another rescue. Some will stand on the very ladders you held steady for them and still forget your sacrifices once they reach comfort. That is life. Not wickedness alone, just reality.

So now, I understand this deeply:
Giving should not come from fear, guilt, pressure, manipulation, or the need to appear “good.”

Not every hand stretched toward you is yours to carry.
Not every burden is your assignment from God.

If helping others leaves you unable to keep your own roof, dignity, peace, or future intact, then wisdom must speak. Because constantly emptying yourself into unproductive cycles is not always holiness; sometimes, it is emotional recklessness.

I have learnt to invest more into stability, purpose, growth, and people genuinely trying to rise. I have learnt that enabling destructive habits while destroying your own future helps nobody in the end.

Mercy, without wisdom can bankrupt the giver.

So today, I choose balance.
I will still help, but prayerfully.
I will still love, but wisely.
I will still give, but with discernment.
No more giving from pity.
No more rescuing people committed to sinking themselves.
No more tearing bricks from my own foundation to build comfort for those unwilling to build for themselves.

This is not wickedness.
This is maturity.
This is survival with wisdom.

And to everyone with a soft heart like mine:
May God teach us the difference between purpose and over-sacrifice.
May we never become empty trying to save those determined to remain unhealed.

In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen. 🕊️

⚖️
One Nigerian blogger has now reportedly been sentenced to 2 years imprisonment over the defamatory publication involving the child of two Nigerian artists, and many are also watching closely for the legal consequences tied to the alleged defamation of Sir Tony Elumelu and his family.

This is not about “gloating.” It is about accountability finally reminding reckless bloggers that not every Nigerian supports wickedness disguised as entertainment, activism, or gossip. Many decent people have quietly watched for years as lives, marriages, businesses, mental health, and reputations were dragged through the mud for clicks, donations, trends, and emergency fame.

Too many faceless bloggers became comfortable believing social media noise made them untouchable. It does not. Freedom of speech does not erase responsibility, nor does poverty, popularity, bitterness, or “cruise” exempt anyone from the consequences of blackmail, cyberbullying, forgery, malicious publication, and defamation.

Successful people should not become emotional punching bags simply because they are visible, wealthy, famous, or unable to publicly respond to every lie. There are still laws protecting dignity, privacy, reputation, and family.

The message is simple:
Verify before publishing.
Stop weaponizing unverified allegations.
Stop destroying people for profit.
And understand that some Nigerians still believe decency, evidence, and accountability matter.

Not everyone is applauding these devilish acts.
And clearly, not everyone involved is untouchable anymore.

❤️ 😍 🫂
Happy Birthday to my dearest sisterly friend, Princess Udoka Udoji, beloved daughter of His Royal Highness, Igwe Dr. Dan Udoji, The Anumanu Ezeogu VIII, Obi of Oraifite Ancient Kingdom. ❤️👑

From two teenage girls at 15, to women now standing at 59 with only six months between us in age, ours has been a friendship not merely built by time, but by survival, grace, loyalty, prayers, tears, and truth. Through distance, you in England and me in America, through divorce, heartbreaks, raising children, silent struggles, disappointments, losses too painful to explain, my losing my first son, you enduring losses of your own, life has tested us in ways many will never understand. Yet somehow, our hearts remained aligned.

What I cherish most is that we have never needed perfection to preserve our friendship. We have never shamed each other for evolving, never weaponized disagreements, never competed in pain, nor doubted the sincerity of our love through seasons of silence. We have honored our differences, respected each other’s decisions even when we did not fully understand them, and genuinely prayed for one another from pure places. That is rare. That is sacred.

And despite all life has thrown at us, our wins have still outweighed our losses. God has been faithful. We are highly favored women, even in seasons when we did not fully see it ourselves. We may not yet be everywhere we once dreamed of being, but we are still standing, still loving, still believing, still fighting forward with grateful hearts. That alone is victory.

Today, as you celebrate another beautiful year, I thank God ahead for the new season unfolding over your life. I pray that your brewing glory has already begun to shine openly. May favor answer you before you speak. May doors open at the mention of your name. May every proposal concerning you and your children receive divine approval, kindness, and support from unexpected places.

May we never again know the kinds of sorrows that force people to begin life over from ashes. May every evil spoken, sent, or wished against us return void. May wisdom, humility, peace, and divine protection clothe you from every direction. May grace overtake you. May joy multiply in your home. May your children rise blessed and protected. May gratitude never depart from our hearts, and may God continue to use visible and invisible hands to bless us both.

My darling friend, thank you for existing honestly in my life for over four decades. Thank you for being one of the few souls before whom I have never needed to pretend.

I love you deeply. Happy Birthday, Princess. 🌹👑
Amen.

⚖️
Pray about everything.
Not only when things go wrong.
Not only over yourself.
Not only for your children.
Not only for “important people.”

Pray for the continuation of good.
Pray for the stability of loyal hearts.
Pray that kindness does not become bitterness.
Pray that temptation does not find access through pain, lack, pride, envy, hidden wounds or silent desperation.

Life has taught me something deeply uncomfortable:
most betrayals do not come from strangers.
They often come from trusted spaces… trusted faces… trusted voices.
From people once loved sincerely.
People once prayed with.
People once fed, defended, elevated, believed in.

That is why wisdom says:
never worship human beings.
Love people deeply, yes.
Honor loyalty, yes.
But place no man or woman where only God belongs.

Trust… but verify.
Appreciate… but stay spiritually awake.
Because one bad decision, one hidden battle, one unspoken desperation can destroy years of peace in minutes.

Yesterday, a dear friend told me her driver in Nigeria 🇳🇬 was the person she trusted most after her mother. She spoke proudly of his years of loyalty, consistency and reliability. She had helped him greatly, supported his dreams, funded parts of his life, and believed his gratitude was solid as rock.

I listened carefully.
Then I asked gently:

“But do you pray for him?”

She looked surprised.
“Why?”

And I told her:

THAT is exactly why you should pray for him.

Pray that the good in his life continues.
Pray that gratitude never turns into entitlement.
Pray that pressures, bad company, greed, spiritual attacks or hidden struggles never corrupt the mind you have come to trust.

Because wise people know:
“Oun tó dára ń fẹ́ àdúrà, àti ohun tó tún dára ká má rí ibi.”

Meaning:
The good things and good people in our lives deserve prayers too… so evil does not suddenly replace what once brought joy.

Some people wait until disaster before they remember God.
Some wait until betrayal before they become wise.
Some wait until blood is shed before they realize human beings are fragile creatures capable of changing under pressure.

And sadly, when killers are caught…
they cannot restore the life they destroyed.
When betrayal happens…
some losses never fully recover.

This is not to plant fear, suspicion or hatred.
No.

This is a call to spiritual maturity.
To stop idolizing human beings.
To stop assuming consistency today guarantees loyalty tomorrow.
To stop sleeping through life emotionally careless.

Pray for your spouse.
Pray for your children.
Pray for your employees.
Pray for your helpers.
Pray for your friends.
Pray for the people who hold access to your heart, your home, your peace and your vulnerabilities.

Not because they are evil.
But because they are human.

And human beings need God.

Today, I thank God for every good person still left in this difficult world 🌍.
For loyal hearts.
For reliable souls.
For kind neighbors.
For trustworthy workers.
For sincere friends.
For people whose presence still makes life softer and safer.

May God preserve their hearts.
May wisdom increase in them.
May hidden pain not corrupt them.
May temptation not overpower them.
May goodness continue in our lives.

And may we all remain spiritually awake enough to love wisely, trust responsibly and pray continuously.

Ijmn. Amen.

⚖️ Justice Chidiebere Mark, popularly known, as “Justice Crack,” remains in custody following his arrest and arraignment over allegations relating to cybercrime and alleged incitement of soldiers concerning welfare issues.

Now, let us separate emotions from facts...

By law and procedure, a counsel who files a process remains counsel on record until, withdrawal is properly regularized or a Notice of Change of Counsel is duly entered before the Court. Likewise, while every accused person has a constitutional right to counsel of choice under Section 36(6)(c) of the Nigerian Constitution, such changes must still comply with Court procedure.

The Bail Application was not destroyed. What was endangered was the hearing of the application itself, because of avoidable procedural conflict.

And this is the painful part...

At a moment when Justice Crack needed unity, discipline, and focused legal coordination to secure his liberty, certain so-called supporters and self-appointed defenders allegedly interjected personal interests, emotional ownership, influence, and ego into a liberty matter.

It's not, as wasn't, and cannot be the outsider's responsibility to ensure, except, as allowed by the defendant and his team to secure his release, as granted by law.

Attorney Marshall was the outsider. And that was proven by the defendant's
verbalized preferred representation when asked by the jugde.

That is deeply unfair to a man in detention. His friends and supporters should have put aside their grievances with Attorney Marshall.

Attorney Marshall was reportedly invited by Justice Crack’s wife and encouraged by VERYDARKBLACKMAN. Whatever arrangement existed should have remained secondary to one thing only:

securing the Defendant’s freedom first.

Instead, unnecessary camps, loyalties, and power plays appear to have complicated a sensitive legal process.
No detained person should ever be placed in a position where choosing peace between competing interests could cost him extra days behind bars.

That is not support.

That is selfish interjection disguised, as loyalty.

.
🧠 💰 📖 ❤️ Understand this once and for all: whether rich or poor, suited or ragged, educated or illiterate, Black, White, or Brown, almost everybody on this earth is chasing two things; money and more money. Stop acting shocked by it.

Survival is expensive. Dignity is expensive. Peace is expensive. Even freedom costs something.
So stop entering love, friendships, and business arrangements wearing blindfolds and pretending “good vibes” alone can sustain adult realities. Every serious adult, consciously or unconsciously, is evaluating how people affect their lives in three ways:
Will you drain them? Sustain them? Or add value to them?

That is not wickedness. That is life.

Nobody keeps pouring endlessly into people, situations, or relationships, without eventually questioning the return on emotional, mental, spiritual, or financial investment. No sane person wants to become irrelevant, dishonored, burdensome, or perpetually dependent. Yet, many keep making reckless choices while expecting permanent comfort from others.

This world is not soft anymore. The economy is brutal. Opportunities are uneven. Inflation is swallowing dreams daily. Meanwhile, some of the wealthy and powerful have become so morally bankrupt that their pleasures now come from degradation, manipulation, humiliation, and the desperation of others.
The things hidden behind luxury doors would shock ordinary minds. Threesomes. Perverse appetites. Exploitation. Dehumanization. Transactions disguised as relationships. Souls auctioned for access, influence, survival, validation, or temporary comfort. Men and women reducing themselves, because desperation, greed, laziness, envy, or hopelessness convinced them that dignity no longer pays.
And while ordinary people are struggling to survive honestly, corrupt systems continue concentrating wealth into the hands of a few powerful predators, their entitled children, and reckless heirs wasting generations of stolen or inherited wealth, without wisdom, discipline, or purpose.

So yes, financial wisdom matters now more than ever. Learn skills. Be productive. Build value. Protect your mind. Protect your integrity. Stop romanticizing irresponsibility. Stop glorifying dependency. Stop expecting endless harvesting where you have planted nothing.

But hear this carefully before hopelessness poisons your heart:
DO NOT become wicked trying to survive.
Because despite the darkness in this world, God is still God. He is still showing mercy. Still opening impossible doors. Still lifting people nobody expected. Still rewarding integrity in ways systems cannot explain. Still giving people “wells they did not dig.”

Too many people now believe every kindness is staged, every blessing is manipulation, every miracle is branding, and every good heart is pretending. Why? Because many have lost faith in divine mercy. They no longer believe goodness can still win without, corruption.
That loss of faith is what is truly destroying people.
Some have suffered so much that they now worship cynicism. They mock purity. They laugh at patience. They despise honesty. They weaponize bitterness. They would rather become dark than disappointed again.
But God has never needed human templates to bless people. Never.
His ways are not predictable. His methods are not democratic. His timing is not controlled by social media opinions, political systems, old money, connections, algorithms, or human gatekeepers. He does not copy and paste destinies.
He customizes journeys.
He breaks patterns.
He shocks generations.
He humbles kingdoms.
He raises unknown people from dust while proud empires collapse in public.

So stay wise. Stay dangerous in knowledge. Stay disciplined. Stay prayerful. Stay productive. But above all, do not lose your soul trying to survive a collapsing world.
