WEATHER OPERATIONS UPDATES:

• Warming Center: 401 Laurel St. - opening Jan. 20 at 6PM

• Freeze preparations through the city roadways, facilities, etc.

• Dispatch Non-Emergency line for water issues/leaks (409-938-9269)

• Road preps by City Public Works and TxDOT

• 2 Extra PD patrol officers & 2 extra firefighters, 1 on each engine

• Back up generators for lift stations, Waste Water Treatment Plant, and water stations

• Extra blankets in PD/FD patrol vehicles for citizens in need

• Public Works crews on call for infrastructure issues

• Any court date, due date, payment date or jury summons that is scheduled for January 21st and January 22nd have been rescheduled due to weather.

• Utility Crews will not be disconnecting water services this week for payment deadlines

• City Offices closed on Tuesday & Wednesday
