I had the pleasure of speaking at the last week, and it was truly inspiring to see so many professionals dedicated to bringing their dreams of salon suite ownership to life!

C5 + CCIM GLOBAL SUMMIT

This moment was incredibly special for me. I entered this industry as a way to get through one of the toughest times of my life (I miss you deeply mommy ). I quickly realized that my purpose would be deeper after walking into countless rooms where there was little to no representation. I made it my mission to not only show up in the rooms, but to also bring education and awareness to my platform. Prior to the pandemic, I begin utilizing social media in the most unconventional way for commercial brokers. I used it as a way to connect, generate business, market properties/ projects, and bring awareness and exposure of commercial real estate to minorities. Once the pandemic hit, it forced our industry to look at virtual connections and social media in a completely different light.

In the midst of it all, assembled a list of top commercial real estate influencers online, and to my astonishment, I not only made the list but secured the #1 spot. Excited to share this achievement, I posted it, only to face adversity from within the industry, from a Houston broker asking “why are you considered an influencer, I’ve never seen your name?” . Funny enough I never responded. I wanted to wait for a moment like this—after all the best response is proof that YOU’RE HER! I used this passive criticism as motivation to continue building my resume (Government, Corporate, small business = Top CRE Practitioner 2023 NAREB) and pursuing formal education (CCIM Candidate) at , often dubbed the "PHD of CRE."

With the support of this community, this platform, our company , my dad .ryland, and many others, I've reached millions of people. This has made me qualified to take the stage at a GLOBAL summit alongside some of the industry's top game changers. I truly cannot express my gratitude enough. 💕
