Good morning, I hope this message finds you all in good spirits. I want to express to each of you my deep gratitude for helping to create an exceptional grassroots political campaign. I want to thank the volunteers who knocked on doors and distributed signs in the hot Texas heat and all of you who posted on social media and spoke to your friends and neighbors. All of you played an integral part in our campaign. My opponent Teiva Bell ran a strong race and I wish to congratulate her on her win. Although this campaign has come to an end, our movement has not! I will continue to be a voice for the voiceless and an advocate of justice in our community. We must all continue to do our part to fight for change in our government by voting in the November 2020 presidential election. Please let us go forward together, as our goal continues. Thank you all very much.
