That journey led me to Cornell where I studied Public Health and Africana Studies, WashU for my Master of Public Health degree, and Rutgers Law School for my Juris Doctorate. Health equity means everyone having a fair and just opportunity to be as healthy as possible. It’s not just about access to healthcare, but also addressing things like poverty, discrimination, and lack of education that can prevent people from being healthy.

Law and Policy are great tools to achieve health equity.

Lawyers can play a big role in achieving health equity. They can:
