🚨 THIS WEEK IN 2A NEWS — The Map Moved. Did You Notice?
There were some significant developments in the Second Amendment world this month — but the headlines don’t tell the whole story.
This week’s SierraBravo On Target roundup looks at:
📬 Lawful carry in U.S. post offices — a decades-old federal restriction just took a major hit.
⚖️ The NFA ruling — it’s significant, but “the NFA is dead” isn’t the whole story. The fine print matters before anyone starts making decisions based on a Facebook headline.
📜 Federal fi****ms-rights restoration — a process that was effectively dormant for decades has reopened.
👩 Women and fi****ms training — women continue to represent one of the most important growth areas in fi****ms ownership and defensive training.
But the most useful part may be something you can do tonight, at home, in about 20 minutes.
I included a simple 10-Stop Audit: list the ten places you visit most often and determine whether you actually know the carry rules at each one.
Y — I can lawfully carry here, and I know why.
N — I can’t, and I know why.
? — I’m not sure.
Those question marks are the point.
Knowing how to shoot is only one piece of being prepared. Knowing where you legally stand before you walk through the door matters too.
Rights change. Laws change. Court decisions change.
Competence means keeping up.
