Wittness the 1898 volume by High Davies detailing the preceding half century of Welsh Methodism in Pennsylvania. Often overlooked in shaddow of the numerically superior Wesleyan Methodist movement, Welsh Methodism differed significantly in that it proposed a theologically Calvinistic Methodism, in contrast to the dominant Arminian Methodism of the Wesleys.
