Facing discrimination or retaliation at work? Start by documenting every detail—dates, times, people involved, what was said, and any witnesses. Preserve evidence like emails, texts, and performance reviews; screenshots and a secure backup can be lifesavers. File internal complaints when appropriate, but remember those steps don’t replace legal claims—both paths can run in parallel. We give each client personal attention and practical next steps based on years of experience handling discrimination and retaliation matters in New Jersey. Call on a team that listens, advises, and fights for your rights. Learn more: jungjaegerlaw.com

Your legal protections only matter if you know they exist and know how to use them.

This past Tuesday and Wednesday, Jung & Jaeger Law had the honor of spending two incredible days participating in Garden State Equality's "Rooted in Equality," a gathering that brought New Jersey's LGBTQ+ community together to re-imagine what statewide advocacy, education, and wellness can look like going forward.

We were proud to present "Protected by Design: Your Employment Rights Under New Jersey and Federal Law," walking through the protections that the NJLAD, Title VII, and related statutes provide to LGBTQ+ workers and the real-world tools people can use when those rights are violated. The engagement from the room was everything we could have hoped for, and we're grateful to everyone who showed up, asked questions, and shared their own experiences.

Huge thanks to the Garden State Equality team for the care, vision, and sheer amount of work that went into this event—especially Justine Evyn Saliski. Sharing the stage with such a thoughtful lineup of presenters and keynote speakers was a privilege, and the conversations we had in the hallways between sessions were just as valuable as the programming itself.

If anything from our talk resonated with you—or if you're facing discrimination, harassment, or retaliation at work and want to understand your options—our door is open. Jung & Jaeger Law represents employees across New Jersey in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower matters. Reach out anytime for a confidential and free conversation.

She complained to HR that her manager harassed and inappropriately groped her. HR told her that everything is OK because we handled it. A few weeks later the employer laid her off, and offered her a severance agreement. Like a blazing Fire Horse racing into battle, we filed a lawsuit telling them that this was not OK. We fight for justice for people who thought the system was stacked against them. At Jung & Jaeger Law, we turn tough New Jersey workplace fights into real results — from securing just compensation after retaliation to obtaining fair settlements for harassment and discrimination. Our dual attorney approach provides our clients with expert representation at all times and easy access to our team. We use targeted legal strategy, challenge employer defenses, and stay relentless until justice is landed. If you’re an employee anywhere in New Jersey facing discrimination, you don’t have to fight alone. Gong Xi Fa Cai! 🧧 Wishing you a powerful and prosperous Year of the Fire Horse from Jung & Jaeger Law.

2026 ushers in no ordinary New Year. This Year of the Horse arrives bearing the spirit of forward movement, independence, and endurance. These qualities define those who refuse to back down and never accept less than they deserve. Not only that, but this year carries something even more rare: the Fire Horse, a blazing force that returns again after 60 years.

When Jung & Jaeger Law first opened its doors, we chose the Fire Horse as our symbol, not by accident, but by conviction. Our logo honors the Chinese heritage of its founding and the values we carry into every courtroom, every negotiation, and every case we take on. The Fire Horse is known for its intensity, its fearlessness, and its unwavering drive to forge ahead no matter the obstacle. That is exactly the kind of advocacy we bring to you.

At Jung & Jaeger Law, we fight with fire. We are passionate about standing in your corner, championing your rights, and pursuing justice with the same fervent spirit the Fire Horse embodies. When the odds feel steep, we don't flinch. Instead, we charge forward.

This rare alignment of the calendar and the opportunity to open for business this year felt like a calling for these South New Jersey Attorneys. A calling to burn brighter, advocate with fiery passion, and fight more fiercely for every client who trusts us with their case.

If you or someone you know needs representation that is as relentless as it is compassionate, we are ready. With Jung & Jaeger Law, you get the best representation.

Happy Lunar New Year to our clients, colleagues, and community. May the Year of the Fire Horse bring you courage, momentum, and the justice you deserve.

Hello everyone! Jung & Jaeger Law is extremely excited to join the incredible South New Jersey community as a new small business.

One of Jung & Jaeger Law's missions as a new employment law firm in New Jersey is to provide accessible resources for individuals who have never interacted with the legal system. As part of that effort, South Jersey attorneys Kurt Jung and Jacob Jaeger have designed a blog series aimed at explaining the different forms of employment law claims under both federal and New Jersey state law and offers insider guidance on what individual employees should do if they believe that they have been the subject of illegal employment harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation.

Our first post dives into whether an employee should file a charge of discrimination with the EEOC and what occurs once the charge of discrimination has been filed. With Managing Partner Kurt Jung's nearly 37 years of experience at the EEOC, Jung & Jaeger Law offers unique insider knowledge that helps employees understand their employment rights and navigate the complexities of the employment law legal landscape with confidence.

If you've ever wondered whether what you're experiencing at work crosses the line into illegal discrimination, harassment, or retaliation, this series is for you. We're here to help you recognize the signs and understand your next steps.
