Four years ago, Tiffany Hauck joined PINEYWOODS LAW, and we have been grateful every day since.

Through every change, every busy season, and every step of our firm's growth, Tiffany has been the steady hand our team relies on. She adapts to whatever comes her way, she shows up with the same dependability day after day, and she brings a consistency that keeps our firm running smoothly for the clients and families we serve.

That kind of faithfulness is rare, and it does not go unnoticed. Tiffany is always looking for ways to improve and to help keep our firm heading in the right direction. Her willingness to take on new challenges, learn as our firm evolves, and put in the work quietly and reliably has made her an essential part of who we are.

Tiffany, thank you for four years of hard work, loyalty, and dedication to PINEYWOODS LAW and to the people we are here to help. We are proud to have you on our team and grateful for everything you bring to it.

Happy work anniversary. Here's to many more years ahead!

Texas homeowners have been paying higher and higher insurance premiums for years.

According to reporting on preliminary 2025 financial results, Texas home insurers had their most profitable year in two decades, earning about 22 cents in profit for every premium dollar collected.

And that did not happen in a vacuum.

Texas homeowners saw much larger insurance rate increases in 2023 and 2024, followed by another statewide average increase in 2025. In other words, after years of steep premium hikes, the industry turned around and posted record profits.

At the same time, the insurance industry continues pushing the same old message: blame lawsuits, blame injured people or people whose homes get destroyed by the unexpected, blame policyholders, blame plaintiff’s lawyers, and ask lawmakers to make it harder for ordinary Texans to hold insurance companies accountable.

But the numbers tell a different story.

When rates go up, consumers pay.
When claims get delayed, denied, or underpaid, consumers suffer.
When insurance companies make record profits, they still ask for more protection from accountability.

Texans buy insurance for peace of mind, not excuses. Whether it’s a homeowner’s claim, a car wreck, or an injury caused by someone else’s negligence, people deserve a fair process and a level playing field.

At Pineywoods Law, we believe consumer rights matter. Accountability matters. And when powerful companies ask Austin to limit your rights while posting record profits, Texans should pay attention. Remember this when election time comes around and they are trying to force laws on us that take away our rights so they can make more money.
