If you ride horses long enough, you will get hurt. We always hope it's not a bad one. But we also know that it can happen. You need to get these two planning documents in place. Getting a power of attorney and an advance medical directive is SO important. If you fall and seriously injure yourself and cannot make medical decisions - who will make them for you? That is what your advance directive does. If you fall and are in the hospital and cannot pay your bills, who is going to take care of that for you? That is what your POA is for. We always hope you will never need these documents, but this can happen. Getting protection costs less than a mid-price Samshield or Charles Owen helmet. We don't get on a horse without a helmet, these documents are as important! Let me help you get the legal coverage you need.
