One of the unique qualities Tony brings to the "inspector's" qualifications is his actual on the job experience. It takes more than a couple of hours of observation or reading the guidelines to gain the experience to make decisions affecting hundred to hundreds of thousands of dollars of material and labor. This is probably why he has never been on the losing side of court decided litigation. He has even been hired by the party at fault to help diminish liabilty because of his field experience. When asked for recommendations he tries to use his real life experiences to help make practical determinations. 3) Design - Having worked with and along side some of the most well know hardwood flooring companies/individuals in the country he has gained a weath of knowledge. Through the use of stains, dyes, and finishes he has developed many interesting and awe-inspiring colors. Through the years he has gleened handscraping techniques from professionals throughout the world as well as developing his own lines for Washington Wood Floors. Techniques he has shared throughout North America and Asia from very rustic to barely worn looks have shown up on many different manufacturer's lines. Working with Interior designers and Architects he has learned many want and desire to achieve the "look" that sets their project apart.
