The Credit Abuse Resistance Education (C.A.R.E.) Program empowers students with the knowledge they need to make smart financial decisions and avoid the pitfalls of credit misuse. Through engaging classroom presentations, students learn real-world skills that can shape their financial futures for years to come.

Jay Matheny of Denton Law Firm, PLLC presents this program three times a year and has reached 500 students+! He shared: “I strongly believe in this program and the information that it provides. Thus, I am incredibly grateful for the Kentucky Bar Foundation’s commitment to the C.A.R.E. Program.” Thank you Jay for expanding legal and financial knowledge across Kentucky and helping young people build stronger, more informed futures.

Our refreshed logo, colors, and visual identity were thoughtfully evolved to better represent the strength, credibility, and collective impact of Kentucky’s legal profession, while remaining true to the mission that has guided us since 1958.

This update marks an exciting new chapter as we continue working together to expand access to justice, support law-related education, and strengthen communities across the Commonwealth.

The 9th Annual Johnstone Dinner was truly something special. Nearly 200 friends, colleagues, and community members came together to honor the remarkable Judge Charles Allen “Woody” Woodall, III and the room was filled with admiration, joy, and plenty of laughter.

Judge Woodall's colleagues' beautiful tributes to his lifetime of service captured exactly what this event is all about: celebrating leadership, integrity, and a deep commitment to access to justice in Kentucky.
