Before you accept that appraisal value and call it a day… double check your notice date. Some homeowners may still have a June 1 deadline depending on when their appraisal notice was mailed.

Don’t get overtaxed this year simply because you assumed it was too late.

In Texas, the protest deadline is 30 days from the date your appraisal notice was mailed and for some homeowners, that deadline may still be June 1st.

If you recently received your notice, check the mailing date carefully. You may still have time to protest.

Not every Texas property tax protest deadline was May 15.

If your notice was mailed around May 1, your deadline may extend to June 1. Before assuming it’s too late, check your notice date carefully.

For many homeowners who received April notices, May 15 is the final day to file. Some homeowners who received notices later may still qualify for a June 1 deadline, so if you’re unsure, reach out and ask.

I’m still accepting homeowners whose deadlines are today while capacity allows.
