The Renaissance Resident Council hosted a great meeting featuring Elder Law Attorney Kevin Sarlo, who presented an overview of helpful programs offered by the Lee County Legal Aid Society! Residents appreciated the clear information, resources, and support. 🤝 This session, held in partnership with the Housing Authority, was part of The Renaissance’s monthly resident meeting.

Part one of our three part hurricane preparedness series is officially in the books! 🎉

Kevin Sarlo, our Elder Law Attorney presented at Beacon of Hope Pine Island, and shared key lessons learned from Hurricane Ian and practical steps seniors can all take to be better prepared moving forward.

The session was very well received, with thoughtful questions from every attendee. One community member shared ongoing challenges with contractor issues related to Ian repairs, a reminder of how long recovery can take and how important clear guidance is.

We're grateful for everyone who joined us and contributed to such a meaningful conversation. Part Two is coming in September. Stay tuned for details! 🌟
