I encourage my friends, family, and colleagues in Rankin and Madison Counties to vote for Carter Smith for Circuit Court Judge.

I met Carter more than a decade ago, when I was a public defender and he was an assistant district attorney in Mississippi’s 13th Judicial District. Since then, I have served as opposing counsel in numerous felony cases in Circuit Court. I have seen firsthand that Carter is an excellent trial attorney with extensive Circuit Court experience. I have also known him to be a man of integrity.

I have practiced law since 1986 and handled many civil and criminal cases in Mississippi’s Circuit Courts. Based on my personal experience working across the courtroom from Carter, I believe he has the experience, ability, and character to serve Rankin and Madison Counties well as Circuit Court Judge.

The deadline to register for the November 3, 2026 General Election is Monday, October 5th.

If you live in Rankin or Madison County, you can register in person at your county Circuit Clerk’s Office or complete a Mississippi voter registration application and mail it in. Mailed applications must be postmarked by October 5th.
