Imposter Syndrome and parenting: Impostor syndrome is a psychological experience in which a person suffers from feelings of intellectual and/or professional fraudulence. It is characterized by self doubt. Those who suffer from imposter syndrome often doubt their skills, talents, or accomplishments. Imposter Syndrome applies to parenting as well. Even though a parent is succeeding in raising a child he may feel inadequate. This will reflect in his testimony in court and can be exploited. That is why before going to court extensive witness preparation in a courtroom setting is essential. It can bring home the win. I can make a real difference if a client will give me the time to train in our on premise fully furnished courtroom. The training isn't always fun but it produces great results. We can transform a client from being a timid witness to one with self confidence. This is how we win. With vision and a plan.
