My name is Margy Mullen and I am and have been a Certified Instructor for the National Rifle Association/NRA for the past 27 years; I am qualified to teach the following: Pistol, Personal Protection In The Home, Shotgun and Rifle classes. With completion of my class you will be given a 'Certificate of Completion' that you can then take to your local Sheriff’s office that will make you eligible to apply for the State Concealed Weapons Permit. If you are taking my Utah or Arizona CCW class you will send it via Post Office to apply for your concealed weapons permit in that state. Oregon requires that you must have a CCW Permit (Concealed Carry Weapon) to carry a concealed weapon within our state. Oregon recognizes no other state's Concealed Weapons Permits. By the time you are done with my class you will feel confident and will 'want' to practice and become proficient. It's a good feeling knowing that you don't have to be a victim. If you have ever been in that situation then you know exactly what I am talking about. If your life has not been threatened with deadly force then you may not relate, but remember this: 'One in 5 women are raped and or physically abused by their husbands or boyfriends' ... let alone strangers (and that's national statistics)! Having a gun could make all the difference in the world for any of the 'Good Guys' ... Men and Women alike!
