Meet Our Opening Speaker, Ms. Agnes Tuale.

Every great wedding planner starts with a strong foundation, and there’s no better person to open this year’s seminar than Agnes Tuale.

As Chairman of the Sidlakang Negros Association of Events Professionals (SNAP), PAWP Trustee, and Owner of WED Weddings Exquisitely Designed in Dumaguete, Agnes brings decades of experience producing everything from large conventions to intimate weddings. A respected pillar of the events industry in VisMin, she continues to inspire professionals through her leadership and dedication to excellence.

In Session 1: Understanding the Wedding & Celebration Planning Profession, Agnes will take participants beyond weddings and introduce the broader landscape of the events industry. The session explores the different sectors of event management, from MICE, corporate, government, institutional, and special events to milestone and celebration events, helping participants understand where wedding planning fits within the profession.

More importantly, participants will discover why wedding planning is considered the cornerstone of celebration planning. Weddings demand a unique combination of project management, creativity, hospitality, logistics, emotional intelligence, and people management. These same skills become the foundation for planning debuts, anniversaries, birthdays, proposals, family celebrations, and other milestone occasions.

This opening session will give you the perspective every event professional should have before planning their next celebration.
