Since the very beginning of the rodeo, one thing has always mattered deeply to me 🤍

Using this platform for something bigger than just an event & giving back to the community that raised me 💕

Every year, I choose a local cause — not randomly, but intentionally. Something right here in our community that needs more support, more awareness, and more people standing behind it. Because I believe if we’re going to bring thousands of people together… it should mean something ✨

This year, I am incredibly honored to share that our 2026 rodeo raffle will be supporting Amy’s House — a part of the Lincoln County Coalition Against Domestic Violence ❤️

This organization has been serving our community since 1994, founded by three local women — including a Lincoln County teacher who saw firsthand the need for change and protection for women and families experiencing domestic violence

In 2023, they opened Amy’s House — the only 24/7, 365-day emergency shelter in Lincoln County for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking

This isn’t just a shelter — it’s a lifeline 🤍

It’s a safe place 🏡
It’s a reset 🔄
It’s where someone goes when they need out and don’t know what’s next

Amys house provides:
• Temporary housing (typically a 90-day program, extended case by case) with a new implantation of transitional housing program for survivors that are eligible and meet criteria- Typically 6-24 months
• Intensive, hands-on case management
• Wraparound services that continue even after individuals leave their care
• A path to stability, safety, and independence

As of February 2026, they’ve already helped 9 women and children step into safe, stable housing — real lives changed, right here in our community ✨❤️

They also operate Amy’s Closet — something I think is really special and such a powerful part of their story

What started from dedicated volunteers has grown into a true “Shop to Stop Domestic Violence” initiative. Amy’s Closet is a nonprofit boutique that resells donated women’s clothing, accessories, and home goods — with locations in Denver (opened in 2013) and Lincolnton (opened in 2016). Because of it, the Coalition has been able to create consistent, year-round support for their mission. 🛍️✨💕

But it goes deeper than that…
Amy’s Closet also provides clothing and household essentials completely free to survivors — helping them as they step into a new chapter of life. It’s not just about meeting a need in the moment… it’s about helping someone rebuild with dignity, confidence, support and getting them ready for a new start 🤘🏽

A statistic that the director of amys house shared with me…

✨Every 15 seconds, a woman is beaten in this country. For millions, the abuse is severe enough to require medical or police attention. &&&& for nearly 4,000 women every year… it ends in tragedy and they end up loosing their life..

This is not just a number — that’s someone in our community, someone who needs support, safety, and a way out 💔

And while so much good is being done at Amys house… the need is still very real.

That’s why this matters. That’s why this raffle is important 🤍

Celebrating 5 years with RE/MAX today ✨❤️

5 years ago today, I walked away from my full-time 8–5 job as an orthodontic assistant.

No guarantees.
No safety net.
Just a feeling in my heart that there was more for me… and a whole lot of faith and prayers.

I didn’t have it all mapped out. I didn’t know exactly how it would work. There were days I questioned myself, nights I laid awake wondering if I made the right decision, and moments where it all felt heavier than I expected🙏🏽

But God never wavered…

Even in the moments I doubted myself, he never let go of me. He carried me, stretched me, and grew me. He opened doors I couldn’t have opened on my own and placed the right people in my life exactly when I needed them.

This business didn’t come easy.

It took long days.
It took sacrifice.
It took choosing to keep going when it would’ve been easier to quit.

But it gave me something so much bigger than I could have ever imagined — a business built on people, relationships, purpose, and a foundation deeply rooted in my faith.❤️✨

Getting to serve the same community that raised me and support locally owned businesses… is something I’m extremely proud of. The same streets, the same neighborhoods I played in, the same people who have known me since I was a little girl — the same town that poured into me — now trusting me to walk alongside them in one of the biggest financial moments of their lives.
