George knew exactly where he wanted to be 😂

After arriving at a sanctuary, the capybara was introduced to other capybaras, but he kept hopping a 5-foot gate and running straight back to the barn. After his seventh escape, staff finally got the message: George wanted to live with the dogs and people.

Now he spends his days lounging on the sofa — sometimes directly on top of his rescue dog bestie, Milo — and gets his own pool time every afternoon. George has officially won this argument. 🥹

Uh oh…it’s bulb season at Costco again. We rescued 800 of them, and will set them free in our flower field in a few weeks.
